A language serves as a means of social interaction among people. In learning institutions, language is a tool for learning, and the aim is to grow the language. Our department is the largest in terms of human resource.
The department comprises of English subject and Kiswahili. These two subjects are compulsory in our 8-4-4 curriculum.
Students practice speaking, listening, reading and writing skills which are assets in promoting life time effectiveness in communication.
The department has posted good results over the years due to team work and positive attitude of both the students and the teachers.
As a department, we endeavor to continue encouraging our students to embrace the two subjects so as to attain their desired grades.
